LineBoss is a self-belay ascender/descender used as part of a work positioning system.
When loaded by body weight, it automatically locks onto the climbing line.
When climbing, the LineBoss automatically advances along the climbing line as the line is pulled through the device.
When rappelling, speed is controlled by the brake release handle.
